Named after Jenna De Rosnay, the legendary windsurfer of the 1980s.
Jenna De Rosnay broke the speed world record seven times. Remarkably, she set many of her records at what has now become one of my home spots, Portland Harbour, during Weymouth Speed Week, an event I still compete in every year.
Iโve since broken that same speed world record six times myself, and today hold the Womenโs Portland Harbour record.
Taught by my parents, both passionate windsurfers.
I started windsurfing at 12, taught by my parents, both passionate windsurfers. My mum was racing while pregnant with me, and I grew up learning alongside my brother and sister, racing next to my dad as he took us all over the country to compete.
Windsurfing quickly became my whole world.
Fastest on the race course.
Unlike typical speed sailors who train on flat, controlled waters, I learned to windsurf on the rough seas of the English Channel.
From the very start, I threw myself into racing, and the benefits of training in such demanding conditions quickly became clear. Competing in a UK fleet dominated by men pushed my level higher and higher.
Now, Iโm the first woman ever to become UK National Champion, beating all the men.
From National Championships to World Titles.
At 28, I travel the world training and competing on the international race circuit. Last year, I secured my fourth consecutive IFCA Slalom Racing World Title.
After showcasing standout speed on the slalom circuit, I fully embraced the world of speed sailing.
Breaking Barriers in Speed Sailing.
With barely six months of speed sailing experience, I made a last-minute, crowd-funded trip to Namibiaโs custom-built speed canal in Lรผderitz, armed with untested, borrowed gear.
There, I became the only woman ever to break 50 knots peak speed, sailing nine runs over the previous world record and setting a new record six times. I reached 48.03 knots over 500 metres.
Looking Ahead & Chasing New Records.
This year, Iโll return to Lรผderitz with one clear goal: to push the official womenโs speed world record beyond the legendary 50-knot mark over 500 meters.
Alongside my windsurfing career, Iโm also studying part-time with the Open University, working toward a joint honours BSc in Computing & IT with Mathematics, balancing life on the water with lifelong learning.

For a moment it looked like the wind was up and the 6.7 was going to get some laps, but the wind dropped back down and the trusty 7.7 came back out .
Final day tomorrow. With 12/14 wins under my belt, the pressure is off.

European Championships Day3
A nice relaxing start to the day with dog walks on the beach, with racing kicking off later in the afternoon.
A wrong kit choice in the first race left me swimming at the first mark with no wind on my 6.7 - 5th place.๐คฟ
Then choosing not to make that same mistake again, sailed the following 2 races mega overpowered on 7.7 when the wind picked back up - 2 bullets but my body took a beating ๐

Tricky choppy conditions with lots of seaweed in the water- sometimes you get unlucky, hitting big patches and have to stop, the rest of the time you just have keep sailing with the extra drag, but thatโs the same for everyone ๐ but the SlalomX saussage practice is coming in handy ๐
